This page describes what data the 周易占卜 (I Ching) mobile app collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. The app is published by Bill Chan as an individual developer.

What we do not collect: name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone audio, calendar, files, account login, payment details. The app has no sign-up flow.
The app requests the optional ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION / ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION permission so it can record where you cast a divination, alongside the time. This is part of traditional divination practice and is stored only in your local divination history. The location is never transmitted off your device, never used for advertising, and never shared with any third party. Denying the permission has no effect on the rest of the app.
The free version of the app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. Ads are not personalised based on data we hold (we don't hold any), but Google may personalise them based on data Google itself has collected.
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the AdMob SDK presents a Google-provided consent form on first launch, built on the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) v2.2. The form asks you to consent to (or object to) the following processing purposes:
Your choices are saved on the device as an IAB TCF "TC string" (IABTCF_TCString) and passed to ad partners with every ad request.
We work with one TCF vendor:
Data shared with Google may be transferred to the United States and other countries where Google operates infrastructure. Such transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and Google's supplementary safeguards, as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent local minimum age). We do not knowingly collect data from children. The Play Store target-audience setting is 13+.
All data collected on your device stays on your device for as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data, including your stored TCF consent string. Data sent to Google AdMob is retained according to Google's policies.

Note that, because we do not hold any data about you on our own servers, most requests will be answered by directing you to the in-app or device controls listed above, or by pointing you at Google's data-subject request channels for AdMob-collected data.
If we make a material change we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
